PURPOSE

This article describes how to remove IIS logs and stop IIS Logging to free up hard disk space.

STEPS

On the Synergize Server go to the path below :

"C:\inetpub\logs\LogFiles\W3SVC1"

Then select all the files, right click and delete them.

 

How to stop IIS logging:

Open the IIS Manager Console from Administrative Tools.

 

In the IIS Manager Console expand Sites and then Default Web Site and select Synergize. In the features view, double click on Logging.

 

In the Logging page go to Actions and change enable to disable by clicking on it.

 

 Repeat above procedures for the rest of Synergize sites.

 

Restart the IIS but before restarting IIS make sure users are logged off from Synergize because during this process, all Synergize users and applications will be disconnected.
