SYMPTOMS

Users receives the message below when attempting to launch Synergize software.

CAUSE

 The prerequisite .NET Framework 3.5.1 was not installed on the PC or server

 

RESOLUTION

Install .NET Framework 3.5.1 on the specific server or the workstation first and try again installing or configuring synergize software to solve the error. Below you will find instructions on how to process this for both client and server based windows operating systems.

Windows Client PC

1. Navigate to the Control Panel -> Programs -> Turn Windows features on or off.

2. Using the Windows Features window select Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 and after installation click the OK button. 

 

Windows Server

1. Navigate to Server Manager's Features and select Add Features. 

2. Using the Add Features Wizard window select .NET Framework 3.5.1 Features and navigate through the installation menus.

 

 

 

 

Note : Once the installation is finished, a server reboot might be required.
