PURPOSE

 This article describes how to transfer Microsoft SQL server query results to a CSV file. This is useful when analyzing dated Synergize logs. 

STEPS

 1. Log into SQL Server Management Studio and using the Tools drop down navigate to Options.  

 2. Using the Options window navigate to the Results to Text menu under Query Results.

3. Configure the Results To Text as seen in the caption below and click the OK button.

4. After a successful query select Save Results As using the File drop down menu and save the CSV file to a convenient location.
